Wage & Income Transcript

Shows data from information returns the IRS received, such as Forms W-2, 1099, 1098, and IRA contribution information. Available for up to 10 prior years.

Verification of Non-Filing Letter

Shows information returns filed by the business, including Forms W-2 issued to employees and 1099s issued to contractors.

Processing Times

  • Online transcripts are available immediately after identity verification
  • Mailed transcripts typically arrive within 5-10 business days
  • Current-year returns may not be available until the return has been fully processed

  • Online access requires an IRS account with ID.me verification
  • You will need your SSN, date of birth, and filing status
  • Business accounts require EIN and authorized representative verification
